Former Lundbeck venture advisors start new biotech fund

Novo Holdings and the Danish Growth Fund (Vækstfonden) are among the investors in a new Danish/Swedish biotech fund, which has EUR 110m at its disposal.

A new Danish/Swedish biotech fund, Sound Bioventures, has been launched, Danish financial daily Børsen reports.

Sound Bioventures is the brainchild of two former Lundbeck Venture senior advisors, Casper Breum and Johan Kördel, and Bibhash Mukhopadhyay, who has most recently worked at venture fund NEA in the US.
