
Massive bottlenecking and tough competition to acquire needed components, like filters and sterile bags, have forced the allergy firm ALK to think of creative solutions to avoid production of its vaccines slowing down or coming to a halt.
The Danish firm has plants in Denmark, Spain, France and the US, and in all locations, the allergy group uses several products and raw materials to produce its allergy vaccines, which target against common allergens including grass, dust and pollen.
