IO Biotech prepares for IPO in the US

IO Biotech, which is based in Copenhagen, has begun the preparations for a listing in the US. Less than a year ago, the biotech company brought in USD 147.2m (DKK 944m) in a series B funding round.

Copenhagen-based biotech company IO Biotech seeks a listing in the US, reports Danish financial daily Børsen, referring to a filing that the firm has sent to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Meanwhile, Claus Andersson, partner in the venture capital fund Sunstone, which is one of the owners of IO Biotech, confirms the IPO plans to Børsen, without any further comment for the time being.
