Novo Nordisk's new VP of digital health to focus on internal and external innovation

Søren Smed Østergaard has taken over the role as vice president of digital health at Novo Nordisk. According to the new VP, the pharmaceutical company will focus on internal and external innovation when developing new digital solutions for the company's medications.

The past few years, Novo Nordisk has greatly ramped up the development of digital solutions to help ensure that its products see better usage.

This is happening through partnerships with external companies, but also internally, where the Danish pharmaceutical giant is beginning to take its next steps.
