EU approves upscaling of Moderna vaccine in US production facilities

The EMA CHMP has given the stamp of approval for US medical company Moderna to increase its production of the active substance in the firm's coronavirus vaccine in two of the company's US facilities.

The European Medicines Agency's (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has given the green light for the US pharmaceutical company Moderna to increase the production of the active substance in the firm's covid-19 vaccine known as Spikevax in two of the firm's factories on US soil.
