Novo Holdings invests huge sums in the US

Novo Holdings has set its sights on the US, and is digging deeper into the health IT market by investing a major sum in the company Availity.

Danish fund Novo Holdings is betting on the health IT market by placing an unknown, yet sizeable, figure in privately-owned US company Availity.

"The unique aspect is that there is a sizeable network connection between payers and service providers, for which reason a large amount of the requests pass through Availity's platform," says Senior Partner and Head of US Principal Investments at Novo Holdings Abhijeet Lele.
