Three global giants consider vaccine production in Denmark

Three of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies have met with Denmark's Statens Serum Institute as part of a tender process to initiate vaccine production on Danish soil. Three other companies who already have production facilities in Denmark are also interested.

In May, Statens Serum Institute (SSI) held meetings with six companies that are interested in producing covid-19 vaccines in Denmark.

Of these, half have existing production facilities in Denmark, while the other three are not currently represented in the country other than with offices and local organizations.
