Pandemic kicked off ALK's digitization process

The world's ongoing pandemic has accelerated allergy company ALK's digital efforts, in which the firm has invested a massive million-kroner figure. "Digitally, we're in the loop," states the CEO, who has turned digitization into a company focus area.

Digital apps, online tools and consumer behavior tracking are some of the initiatives which will raise allergy patient awareness of tablet vaccines from the Danish company.

This was the tune, when ALK CEO Carsten Hellmann launched an encompassing transformation of the firm in December 2018, which included a growth plan where digitization was one of four central strategic action areas.
