Leo Pharma to cut up to 650 positions

Over the next 2.5 years, Leo Pharma will cut around 650 positions. Simultaneously, investments relating to a new strategy will create 400 new jobs, according to the firm.

Leo Pharma has initiated negotiations with representatives from staff groups about the details of new plans that might result in up to 650 positions within the company being cut.

The positions will be cut as part of an ongoing process that will affect the whole organization over the course of the next 2.5 years, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Catherine Mazzacco tells MedWatch.
