UK buys 20,000 smallpox vaccines from Bavarian Nordic as demand soars
The UK has purchased doses of Bavarian Nordic’s smallpox vaccine, which can also be used to protect against monkeypox. Germany has already ordered 40,000 doses, and other EU countries are expressing interest.
