EMA currently sees no need for Covid booster jab

While one vaccine producer is applying for approval for three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, the European Medicines Agency wants to wait for more data.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) does not see any reason to give a third dose of coronavirus vaccines, the agency stated on Friday.

This announcement comes after pharmaceutical company Pfizer reported "uplifiting data" from a current trial of giving a third dose of its Covid-19 vaccine.
