Novo Nordisk to warm Danish homes with excess heat from factories

A new project in the Danish municipality of Kalundborg could eliminate the need for natural gas to heat thousands of residents’ homes.

Novo Nordisk is taking the lead in a new project, which also includes Novozymes and Danish utility Kalundborg Forsyning, to free Danish municipality Kalundborg from natural gas by moving over to district heating as primary energy source, financial media Finans writes.
