EU prosecutor’s office opens investigation into Union's vaccine procurement

EPPO, the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, has confirmed the existence of an investigation in the wake of increased scrutiny of the Covid-19 vaccine procurement process.

Though information remains sparse, it has now been confirmed that the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) has opened an investigation into ”the acquisition of Covid-19 vaccines in the European Union,” a brief press release stated on Friday.
