
The World Health Organization, WHO, has decided that the current monkeypox outbreak does not constitute an international health emergency, which is the highest threat level the organization has. Instead, it has been described as an ”evolving threat,” Bloomberg News reports.
On Friday, The Washington Post revealed that WHO was discussing whether to classify the outbreak as a crisis and implement more measures and financing to stop the spread.
