WHO decides against calling monkeypox a global health emergency

The World Health Organization, WHO, has decided that the current monkeypox outbreak does not constitute an international health emergency, which is the highest threat level the organization has. Instead, it has been described as an ”evolving threat,” Bloomberg News reports.
