
The European Medicines Agency's Head of Research and Innovation, Jordi Llinares Garcia, has died unexpectedly, the agency reports in a statement on its website.
Garcia, who was from Spain, was the person behind the European Prime program, which accelerated the regulatory process for potentially groundbreaking medicine.
