Novo Holdings appoints new head of responsible investments

Novo Holdings has found its new head of responsible investments at Danske Bank's wealth management unit.

Dane Maja Engholm Pedersen has joined Copenhagen-based Novo Holdings to be its new Head of Responsible Investments, according to her own Linkedin announcement. Novo Holdings is the controlling shareholder of Novo Nordisk and Novozymes. It invests and manages assets coming from the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

Engholm Pedersen joins the foundation from Danske Bank where she has worked for four and a half years in various roles relating to external manager selection and sustainable investing. Prior to joining Danske in 2016, Engholm Pedersen worked in the manager selection area at Danish asset manager Bankinvest (2014-2016) and at Danish labor market pension scheme for industrial employees Industriens Pension (2006-2014).
