Coloplast testing preventative silicone bedsore dressings

The medtech company is conducting a clinical study of a silicone wound dressing as a prevention method for patients at risk of developing a pressure injury.

Coloplast is currently investigating the safety of its silicone wound dressing product, Biatain Silicone Sacral Bandage, when it is used to prevent admitted patients at risk of developing pressure injuries.
