
Ambu is cutting DKK 250m (USD 34m) from its annual costs, and this will help to ensure that the Danish medtech firm will not need to raise new capital to keep the gears turning, says CEO Britt Meelby Jensen.
She and CFO Thomas Frederik Schmidt explained the new cuts in an investor teleconference after a guidance downgrade and the new savings plan were revealed alongside Ambu’s key figures from April, May and June.
