Boston Scientific acquires company for USD 1.75bn

Ambu competitor Boston Scientific has acquired Baylis Medical Company.

Medtech company Boston Scientific, which is one of Ambu's competitors on the market for single-use scopes, has acquired Baylis Medical Company for USD 1.75bn, Bloomberg News reports.

Boston Scientific states that the companies have entered into a binding agreement, and the deal is expected to be finalized during the first quarter of 2022.
