Pentax obtains EU approval for single-use scope

EU authorities have given the CE mark to medtech firm Pentax's single-use bronchoscope which sets out to challenge Ambu's dominant position in the area.

Japanese medtech firm Pentax is poised to enter the European market with a single-use bronchoscope called Pulmoone after having obtained a CE mark for the product, according to a company press release.
