WSA is not yet committed to OTC – but has FDA-approved device ready

The hearing aid group has had a self-fitting hearing aid approved by the FDA, essentially positioning the firm for when the upcoming over-the-counter sales channel open – but CEO Eric Bernard won’t say if this is the plan.

The world’s third-biggest hearing aid group, WS Audiology, has silently submitted and received approval for a self-fitting hearing aid with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
