Audientes gets green light to sell self-fitting hearing aid in India

The Indian authorities have given the final marketing authorization for the self-fitting hearing aid Ven, developed by Danish hearing aid firm Audientes. Sales can now begin within a few weeks.

Danish hearing aid firm Audientes has now received the final market approval in India for its self-fitting hearing aid, dubbed ”Ven,” enabling the company to start selling devices there, a company press release reports on Monday.

”This equipment type approval from the Indian authorities is the final green light for Audientes and Ven in India,” CEO of Audientes Steen Thygesen says in the press release, adding:
