GN executive does not envy sister firm's booming success

The tables have turned at GN Store Nord as the headset division GN Audio has now surpassed the GN Hearing business leg for several quarters. The chief of the latter, Gitte Aabo, is hardly concerned by this development as she sees it as an advantage to have a successful sister under the same parent company.

One sister is powering ahead with 80 percent growth rates and guidance upgrades for 2021. The other remains floored by the covid-19 pandemic and is just about keeping its head above water from a growth perspective.

The relationship between hearing company GN Store Nord's two business legs, headset division GN Audio and hearing aid business GN Hearing, has traditionally been clear-cut in the way that Hearing was the big sister and Audio was the smaller sibling.
