Bavarian Nordic will supply smallpox vaccines to three European countries

Three European countries have placed orders on Bavarian Nordic's smallpox vaccine Imvanex. The value of the order totals more than DKK 80m.

Bavarian Nordic has entered a contract with the governments of three European countries for the delivery of the firm's smallpox vaccine Imvanex, according to the Danish biotech firm's press release on Tuesday morning.

The vaccines are to be supplied in the first half-year of 2021, and their total value amounts to EUR 11m (USD 13.5m). Bavarian Nordic does not inform which countries have commissioned the firm's vaccine.
