US pharma industry urges official action against antimicrobial resistance

In a signed letter sent to congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, the current speaker of the House of Representatives, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a number of pharmaceutical companies and organizations voice their support for the Pasteur Act, a proposal that would establish a program to fight antimicrobial resistance (AMR), reports Endpoints News.
