Roche CEO cautious on Alzheimer’s trial despite Eisai’s success

Last month’s breakthrough Alzheimer’s discovery from Eisai and Biogen doesn’t mean that Roche will also succeed, says CEO Severin Schwan – while analysts aren’t expecting success at all.

Groundbreaking results in Alzheimer’s disease last month don’t necessarily mean that Roche Holding AG will be able to deliver similar success in its own upcoming clinical trial, Chief Executive Officer Severin Schwan cautioned.
