Bavarian Nordic stock up 68% since mid-July

Increases in monkeypox case numbers and the Danish vaccine maker’s stock price have gone hand in hand over the past month.

On Monday, Bavarian Nordic continued its hot streak, jumping by 9% to a share price of DKK 392 (USD 54) on the stock exchange.

The Danish vaccine maker has now spiked 68% since Friday, July 15, when it upgraded its financial expectations due to an order from the US government for doses of the firm’s monkeypox vaccine.
