
Leo Pharma is joining the club of firms such as Novo Nordisk, Lundbeck, and WS Audiology that have all stated they will help their employees in the US to travel out of state if necessary to seek reproductive care including abortions.
The US Supreme Court’s overturned Roe v. Wade in late June, effectively allowing states to pass laws to restrict abortion access. Some states like Texas and Alabama had dormant laws ready, so-called ”trigger laws,” in case the highest court in the country would rule to scrap the long-standing precedent cementing abortion rights.
