Biden administration is mulling over monkeypox budget as high as USD 7bn

The US government has unofficially tapped congress for USD 7bn to fight the monkeypox outbreak. Officials also estimated funding of USD 31.4bn would be needed for the Covid-19 pandemic.


As much as USD 7bn could be needed in the US to curb the monkeypox outbreak with vaccine doses, tests, and treatments, reports The Washington Post after having seen a memo addressed to President Joe Biden.
