Roche to reshuffle management and board

Roche’s leadership will look quite different next year, when both the chief executive and chairman positions will have been filled by different people, the firm announced Thursday.

Swiss pharmaceutical firm Roche is facing a significant restructuring to its leadership at its annual general meeting next year.

In a press release on Thursday, the same day the firm publicized its financial figures for the first half of 2022, it was announced that Chairman of the Board of Directors at Roche Christoph Franz, who’s been in the role since 2014, has chosen not to run for re-election at March’s AGM.
