Novavax's Covid-19 vaccine backed by CDC experts

A panel convened by the US Centers Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has unanimously voted to recommend Novavax’s Covid-19 vaccine for adults.

Tuesday, 12 external healthcare professionals joined on a panel convened by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to discuss the usage of Novavax’s Covid-19 vaccine, which was recently emergency authorized by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Bloomberg News reports.

With a unanimous vote backing the vaccine, dubbed Adjuvanted, and the signature of CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, the US now has an additional weapons in its arsenal to combat Covid-19.
