Father hands over Pharmacosmos reins to son

A generational handover has taken place in Pharmacosmos leadership as Tobias Christensen takes up the chief executive mantle from his father, Lars Christensen, who has served in the role since 1994.

Proving that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, Tobias Christensen will follow in the footsteps of his father, Lars Christensen, and become chief executive of Pharmacosmos, a company press release has announced.

Tobias Christensen joined Pharmacosmos in 2014, where he has served as vice president for corporate development and strategy and, more recently, chief operating officer. His father, on the other hand, has been the man at the helm of the firm since 1994, when he in turn replaced his father.
