Leo Pharma pulls the plug on Leo Innovation Lab

Seven years as an innovation center operating independently under Leo Pharma have come to an end. Leo Innovation Lab CEO Anne Fleischer agrees with the decision, explaining that the organization is not something to be kept forever.

Launching in 2015, Leo Innovation Lab managed to sell four spinout firms before reaching its final destination. However, based on its track-record, some might have thought the company’s journey would have lasted a little longer.

The last of the four sales concerned virtual contract research organization Studies&Me, which started off in Leo Innovation Lab and was bought by Sanos Group this spring. Leo Pharma decided to call it quits shortly after in May, according to CEO of Leo Innovation Lab Anne Fleischer.
