Bavarian Nordic CFO: More monkeypox orders may follow

The biotech firm is quite not done selling doses of its vaccine for monkeypox to governments worldwide, according to CFO Henrik Juuel.

Bavarian Nordic is still waiting to sign more contracts about deliveries of the firm’s vaccine for monkeypox as countries across the world attempt to contain the current outbreak – but the firm has already reacted to most inquiries, reports its chief financial officer, Henrik Juuel.

On Tuesday, Bavarian Nordic confirmed it had signed a contract with the EU to supply 110,000 vaccine doses, and the firm subsequently upgraded its 2022 financial guidance for the fourth time in four weeks, raising expectations by around DKK 100m (USD 14m).
