USA reports 21 confirmed monkeypox cases – global total surpasses 700

In the US, 14 of the 21 cases are considered to be related to traveling. On May 7, Bavarian Nordic will give investors a status update on its monkeypox vaccine, which is the only one on the market.

More than 700 cases of monkeypox have been reported globally during the current outbreak, including 21 in the US.

The US Center for Disease Control (CDC) released these figures after concluding an investigation of the disease. It also concluded that the disease was spreading within the US.
