Leo Pharma's board still struggles with skewed gender ratio

The majority owner of Leo Pharma, the Leo Foundation, is still working on getting more women onto the company’s board. Currently, only one member is a woman, which isn’t good enough, according to the foundation’s CEO Peter Haar.

While the number of women at the top of Leo Pharma has gone up in recent years, the same is not true for the company’s board, which only has 12.5 percent female representation.

As the International Women’s Day was celebrated on Tuesday, the debate about the gender distribution on company boards has arisen once more, and it is far from being over.
