Chairman intends to retire from Almirall in May
Jorge Gallardo Ballart wants to retire from his positions as chair and member of Almirall’s board, effective from the end of the company’s general shareholders meeting in May. Current board vice-president, Carlos Gallardo Piqué, will replace Ballart.

Spanish dermatology group Almirall, which is behind the recent launch of Danish firm MC2 Therapeutics’s psoriasis cream Wynzora in Europe, will soon make a change to the company’s board of direction, as announced in a press release.
