Danish politicians furious over "deeply provocative" Bavarian bonus

Bavarian Nordic's decision to set aside a significant retention bonus for its CEO Paul Chaplin has come under fire from several Danish politicians, who have called the move "deeply provocative," "grotesque" and "distasteful."

The bonus comes less than three months after the government agreed to provide DKK 800m (USD 123m) in state support for the company's Covid-19 vaccine candidate.
