Danish government cancels vaccine production tender

After agreeing to support Bavarian Nordic's development of its Covid-19 vaccination with USD 128m (DKK 800m) in financial aid, the Danish government has now cancelled the planned national vaccine tender.

The Danish government has cancelled its plans of a national vaccine production tender, the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs informs MedWatch in an email. The message comes after the decision was made to financially support Bavarian Nordic's potential vaccine, which is facing clinical phase II testing.
