EU and Astrazeneca each declare lawsuit victory

The EU Commission claims it has received support in a lawsuit against Astrazeneca concerning vaccine deliveries

The EU and vaccine company Astrazeneca both declare that they have come out victorious in a judicial strife revolving around the supply of coronavirus vaccines. The EU Commission claims it has received support for its demands of Astrazeneca that the company must supply 50 million doses before Sept. 27.

The Swedish-British firm Astrazeneca, however, also construes the court decision as a victory since the number of doses to be delivered is lower than the one demanded by the EU.
