Bavarian Nordic to supply UK with monkeypox vaccines

The UK authorities have reported that two people are infected with the disease.

Bavarian Nordic will be supplying Public Health England with monkeypox vaccines, according to an announcement made by the vaccine and biotech company. 

The British health authorities Public Health England (PHE) and the Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) have asked Bavarian Nordic to deliver the pox vaccine Imvanex to be used to combat new cases of monkeypox.
