Newly established firm puts down roots in Denmark

US pharmaceutical company MSD has established a spinout company, Organon, which will have an office in Copenhagen. Organon focuses on women's health.

Pharmaceutical group MSD, known as Merck in the US and Canada, has now officially launched its spinout company Organon. It will have offices all over the world, including in Copenhagen.

"There is a huge need for a company like Organon. This need has existed for a long time, and I am very proud that we can now execute our launch, which we have been planning for such a long time, and have huge ambitions for," says Jennifer Olovson, head of Nordics at Organon.
