Eli Lilly sues HHS in strife over discounted drugs

A letter from the HHS to a host of large pharmaceutical companies has had a cold reception at Eli Lilly. The US pharmaceutical company is now involving the US courts.

The US pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly has sued the US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), according to industry media Endpoints.

This is happening after the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) sent a letter to many of the largest firms in the pharmaceutical industry last week, including Novo Nordisk.
