Novo Nordisk chair foresees pressure on pharmaceutical industry

Chair of the Novo Nordisk Board Helge Lund thinks tax payers will be paying a large bill for the Covid-19 crisis. He also expects an additional pressure to fall on the pharmaceutical industry in future years.

Novo Nordisk's Chair of the Board Helge Lund predicts that Danish tax payers will, to a large extent, be paying the bills for the coronavirus crisis in this country, but that the pharmaceutical industry will also be put under pressure, according to Danish media Finans.

"We can only expect that there'll be more pressure on the pharmaceutical industry in future years," Lund tells Finans.
