Novo Holdings buys Canadian life science company

Novo Holdings is currently buying Altasciences and has signed a deal with owner Audax Private Equity.

Novo Holdings has had its eye on Canadian firm Altasciences and has now acquired firm, founded in 1992, according a Novo Holdings press release in which the Danish company does not disclose the purchase price.

Altasciences is a fully integrated platform which supports early drug development through services such as preclinical safety testing, clinical proof-of-concept studies, clinical pharmacology, bioanalytical research, contract research organization services and contract development and manufacturing organization market information.
