While Bavarian Nordic is working towards producing financing for the firm's own vaccine against Covid-19 its management is more than willing to put its manufacturing facilities at the disposal of firms already producing existing vaccines, according to Danish newspaper Børsen.

"We've expressed our capacity to everyone that needed to know. Then we've read that there's a lack of factories and that no one can find the necessary capacity, and here we are. We can meet Scandinavia's demands in a week," says Bavarian Nordic President & CEO Paul Chaplin.
